He serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of World Economy at the Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE). His academic work spans global economics, human capital development, occupational health and safety—particularly in the construction sector—digital transformation, and applied econometric analysis. He is widely recognized for his expertise in STATA, quantitative research methods, and modern scientific methodology. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he plays an active role in research-capacity development across Uzbekistan, guiding early-career scholars in research design, analytical thinking, and scientific writing.
His academic journey began at TSUE, where he completed his undergraduate studies in 2005 before continuing into advanced training in economics and research methodology. Prior to university, he studied at the Bank and Economy Lyceum in Gijduvan, an experience that sparked his early interest in global markets and economic systems. His professional preparation later expanded in London, where he completed international training programs in management and information systems, strengthening the interdisciplinary foundation of his work.
Professionally, Zikriyoyev has contributed to multiple institutions, including the Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute in Tashkent around 2019, where he conducted research on housing, utilities, and construction-sector performance. His research portfolio covers a broad spectrum of themes: school quality improvement, economic performance evaluation, international trade, digitalization, and workplace safety. He has authored analytical studies on countries including Argentina, Portugal, Canada, France, Japan, and various Middle Eastern economies, reflecting a deep interest in comparative international analysis.
His scholarly output is notable. He has accumulated over 100 Google Scholar citations, written numerous conference papers, and collaborated on studies published in indexed academic platforms. His work frequently combines econometric modeling, network visualization tools, PCA-based digital economy assessments, and cross-country comparative frameworks. Outside academia, he also maintains a connection to traditional Uzbek culture, playing musical instruments such as the doira and dovul, blending scientific curiosity with artistic expression.
His professional affiliations include TSUE’s research community, various interdisciplinary working groups, and regular participation in national seminars aimed at improving research methodology in Uzbekistan. He holds degrees from TSUE, supplemented by certifications from St. George College and Bell’s College in London. His digital academic presence includes profiles on ResearchGate, Google Scholar, the ACM Digital Library, and other research forums across the region.
